My favorite thing about DC is that there is so much to photograph in the area. With plenty of nature and urban spots, and everything else in between, there’s so many options.

The Looks of DC

It’s a blast to photograph in DC, but be sure to check if you require a permit.

I always hope for crazy foot traffic to capture the chaos.

Historic Eleganza in Old Town Alexandria

I love Old town! It provides quaint backdrops, and the parks along the water are gorgeous!

Not technically Old Town, but close. Exploring the paths along the GW Parkway
King St near the Torpedo Factory
The Apothecary Museum – requires permission
The waterside on the back of the Torpedo Factory is especially gorgeous at sunrise.
So much brick around and beautiful stoops to take advantage of.
Cobblestone alleys are everywhere! This one is near Lee & King Streets intersection.
Wilkes Tunnel. Near Royal & Wilkes Streets, Old Town Alexandria, VA.
Jones Point Park in Alexandria features gorgeous sunrise light and a fabulous mixture of nature and concrete.
